QSFM QuickSoundFontManager is a GUI for (a)sfxload, a commandline tool on Linux, or Fluidsynth, to quick load several SF2 soundfonts in a EMU10k chip or a software wavetable synth, as a Linux alternative to the win32-only Creative® Soundfont Bankmanager.

QSFM QuickSoundFontManager ist eine graphische Oberfläche für (a)sfxload, ein Kommandozeilentool unter Linux, oder für Fluidsynth, einen Softwaresynth, um schnell und einfach mehrere verschiedene SF2 Soundfontdateien in den EMU10k Chip einer SoundBlasterkarte oder in den Fluid-SoftwareWavetable-Synth zu laden. Es ist als Linux Alternative zum "Win32-only" Creative® Soundfont Bankmanager gedacht.

Latest Debian, K/Ubuntu, Freespire,.. *.deb Package

The Debian Package is available via Launchpad in QSFMs Personal Package Archive (PPA) from 2013 Oct. 16.

Infos about this PPA-Repository can be found at: https://launchpad.net/~marc-pahnke/+archive/ppa

To add this ppa:marc-pahnke/ppa to your system's software apt sources.lst

Open a Terminal and enter:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:marc-pahnke/ppa


Accept the PPA Key, by pressing [Enter] and enter
 sudo apt-get update

and finally enter
 sudo apt-get install qsfm
to install QSFM on the gentlest way.

Note: From now on, you will get always the latest version of qsfm, if you make a sudo apt-get dist-upgrade :-).

The old Qt3 deb package can be found here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/qsfm/qsfm_1.0.0.1_i386.deb.
